You plod along with no awards and then 2 come along at once. 'This is a Arte Y Pico' award from Sallys 'My Crafty Stuff' blog for "for the best altered dominoes anywhere"

Oh there are rules (yikes)

The Arte Y Pico Award is given to those who share their art and creativity and for making their contribution to the blogging world.There are 5 rules attached to this and they are -

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.

3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.

4. Award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "Arte Y Pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5. To show these rules.

3 and 5 are done. 2 will be done when 1 is. Now number 1 is a bit of a problem right now as I have have managed to get out of touch with blogland just lately I haven't seen what's going on. I am really trying to keep up to date now so will pop 5 people here soon. Hope that's ok.

Number 4 is a bigger broblem. I have been back half a dozen blogs to find a link to arte y pico & when I found a link it was broken :-o so after a google search I have come up with this. if it's wrong ... oops

I've been 'featured'

Arty Girlz Challenge 27 - chocolate

The challenge from the Arty Girlz this week is chocolate so I am going to enter my Easter cake. Chocolate cake with a chocolate fondant filling, chocolate covering, chocolate fingers, and topped with chocolate mini eggs. Enough chocolate? there's 2 slices left. Anyone care to join me?

I trusted her with my craft knife. Yikes! I was having kittens beside her though. She cut the handle bit out herself. Not bad for a 6 year old eh?

Arty girlz - Welly doodles

I wonder if the Arty girlz have ever had welly boots as an entry.

Well(y) they have now!

The challenge was to create using doodles. DD has to have wellies for school but as eveyone has the £1.99 woolies ones I made her's a bit different.

It's nearly easter so theres lots of Easter competions at the schools and nurserys.

The chicks name is Elizabeth & looks to me like she has had a hard life already lol.

DD also has a plate but that is work in progress. I'll show you tomorrow if you can bear to wait that long.
